How Does it work?
You start out as clean as a blanket of fresh snow and while participating in the Most Colorful Non-Profit 5K Charity Event on Earth, you get showered with vibrant colors at every color station until your body is covered from head-to-toe making you look like you just went through a storm of rainbows.
What is the "color" in Color for a Cure?
This is 100% natural, nontoxic, nonirritant to the skin cornstarch, with the showering of colors you will most definitely change your attitude about life but not your health.
What goes on at the finish line?
There will be music, food, and other people who participated in the Most Colorful Non-Profit 5K Charity Event on Earth welcoming and cheering you on with open arms as you cross the finish line.
What is included with my registration?
You get an awesome t-shirt, a fabulous race bib, and swag from our sponsors. You will also receive a bag of color for our party at the end of the event.
What charity does this benefit?
College Girl Against Breast Cancer®, The Ultimate Healing Kit®, and a local cancer charity in your area.
How can I protect my eyes?
We recommend you wear sunglasses or goggles of your choice.
How do we get clean?
We will provide air blowing stations and if that is not enough we suggest soap and cold water and repeat as necessary.
Where and when do I pick up my Non-Profit 5K Charity Event registration packet?
Please check out your race page 2-3 weeks prior to your scheduled event. You will be able to download documents such as locations of packet pickup, times and dates, maps and waivers. Everyone will need to bring a picture ID to pick up packets.
What do I win / is this Non-Profit 5K Charity Event timed?
This is a race that you are rewarded with hugs and smiles, lots of new friends and a shower of rainbows. Is this not what you expect when you participate in the Most Colorful Nonprofit 5K Charity Event on Earth or what? Please take as much time as you would like but enjoy yourself and just "Get Chalked for Charity"™.
Is there an age restriction?
Anyone under the age of 18 must have a signed waiver from their legal guardian or parent at packet pickup and/or race day. Children under 5 participate for free, but must have waiver signed by legal guardian or parent.
Is this Non-Profit 5K Charity Event refundable?
The Non-Profit 5K Charity Event is nonrefundable!

What about children?
Children 5 and under participate for "free" with a paying adult but they do not receive the awesome t-shirt, fabulous race bib, or the swag from our sponsors. They will also need their legal guardian/parent waiver available at all times.
Can I bring a pet?
Absolutely NO pets allowed, this is for both your safety and the safety of the pets. Service dogs excepted.
Are bicycles and skateboards allowed?
No, this is for the safety of all participants.
